Eric saw this in The Globe today, and it sparked a lot of discussion in our household. Don't get me wrong, I get a pretty good deal from my job for maternity leave, but I know there are a lot of women out there who do not. The options for men are even worse.

As you can see from the comments readers posted, a lot of people say the columnist is a socialist. Well, (not to get all political and what-not) but if that's socialism, then serve me up a slice of that! Mmmm, socialism sure is tasty!
