Three is a Magic Number

Our happy family of three. 

Today is October 3, which was supposed to be Madeline's due date.  Obviously, she inherited her mother's impatient gene, and she had plans of her own.  There is no way I can even imagine still being pregnant.  I would be sooo huge and sooo miserable.

So, three was not the magic number for Madeline's birth.

It is, however, according to SchoolHouse Rock, the magic number for a much better reason...

"A man and woman had a little baby.  Yes, they did.  They had three in the family, and that's the magic number."
