Well...he's baaa-ck.
Except, this time, Madeline is much bigger than the Sleep Monster...And she can fight back!
And she can try to escape...
And she can rip his eyes off.
Then she can celebrate the death of the Sleep Monster with a pacifier.
Sigh...
Clearly, we've been having some sleep issues recently. Madeline is going through some separation anxiety, which means that the moment I leave the room she loses her ever-loving mind. Boy, is that girl loud!
The result is that I spend about two hours every night trying to get her to sleep. She wants me in the room with her, but then she gets distracted by my presence and wants to play. If I leave, she screams and screams and screams until she turns purple and sweaty and it's a pitiful sight. Poor girl.
This too will pass, right?
It will. We had to do Ferber's sleep training :-( Good luck...and know you are not alone!
