Three Weeks

Madeline is three weeks old today.  Time is a funny thing.  On one hand, Eric and I feel like she could have been born yesterday.  On the other, it feels like she's been here forever already.  It's hard to imagine what life was like before her.

What We Now Know About Madeline:

1. She gets the hiccoughs a lot.  
2. She's awake for longer and longer periods a day.  
3. She doesn't quite know what to do with herself when she's awake and spends most of her time hitting herself in the face with her own hands...which then makes her mad.  
4. She has a very strong neck.  She likes to try to lift up her head and look around.  
5. She has very long arms.  While her clothes are all still too big, the sleeves are too short.  
6. If you feed her three times in an hour at night, she's out like a light!  
7. She's generally a very mellow baby...just like her Daddy!    
8. Although she does growl when frustrated...just like her Momma!  
9. She still looks most like Eric, but she's starting to look more and more like a combination of the two of us.  
10. She's getting so big!
